Ripley Valley Basketball Club

Training:

Sessions are held at Ripley Valley State Secondary College basketball courts, weekdays from 4:30 to 5:30 with days to be confirmed for your team. Please note due to court availability some of our girls' teams are training at the Amare Center at Sacred Heart School in Booval

Games:

RVBC is part of the Ipswich Basketball Association. Games are played at several venues across Ipswich with JBS Arena in Bundamba being the home venue. 

Uniforms:

If you are a new player or a returning player that requires a uniform kit (jersey and shorts) you can order via the VETO Store

Orders will need to be placed so that you receive your uniforms ready for your player to take the court commencing 2nd February 2026. The following options are available in order to receive your kit 

• You can pay for your order to be posted directly to you 

• Free pick up from Acacia Ridge during Veto’s office hours 

• Collection from Ripley Valley President’s house when notified of kit arrival with an agreed time

Registration Fees:
Ipswich Junior basketball registration consists of two components:

Club fees (Ripley Valley) and Basketball Connect fees (IBA & Basketball Queensland).

Ripley Valley Club Registration

Part 2:

Basketball Connect Registration

Below is the breakdown of Basketball Connect fees (IBA and BQ) registration fees payable through Basketball Connect.

Registration with Basketball Connect must be completed before you will be allowed to take the court.  The Basketball Connect registration is a compulsory fee payable direct to Basketball Connect in addition to your RVBC fees. The Basketball Connect fee is your players insurance to play under Basketball Queensland and Ipswich Basketball. If this fee is not paid, your player will not be able to take the court.

At the time of registration, a 25% non-refundable deposit is payable with RVBC.
NB: If we cannot place you in a team after registration, your deposit will be refunded to you. If you withdraw from a team for any reason, there is no refund of your deposit.

Payment Plans for your RVBC fees are available to our members through our Majestri portal.

PlayOn vouchers are accepted within RVBC to help with your club fees. (These are available through the Queensland Government Website www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/playon/apply )

Players must be fully paid or have commenced an approved payment plan through our Majestri website, before your player will be placed into a team. If you have not done this, you may not be placed in a team, and your place may be given to another player on a waiting list.
